SUMMARY:TGIF Social Hour
DESCRIPTION:Sandy and Ken Nelson will host the next TGIF Social Hour\, 6-8pm\, Friday\, May 11\, at 1813 NE 83rd St.  Contact them at ken@nelsonlawkc.com or 816-468-6670 for information.  Grown-ups are welcome to bring snacks and beverages to share if they wish.  The Nelsons will provide nearly world-famous barbeque\, prepared by award-winning neighbors Larry and Connie Cockerel of L and C Smokin’ BBQ\, \nThe TGIF can get people ready for the 9th annual BBQ Showdown at the swimming pool parking lot on May 19.  Cooking will start at noon at the pool (or people can cook at home if they prefer)\, and dining begins on 5pm.  The homes association will provide the meat for cooking.  It will be a great way to feed hungry volunteers who help with Dumpster Day\, and swimming pool spring clean-up\, also on May 19. \nTGIF Social Hour Sign Up \n–Christi Smith\, Bridge Pointe Vice President\n816-645-0550 or jcewsmith@gmail.com
